Mandatory Gear, Required to participate in Group
Rides:
Battery Tie-Downs
Usable Spare Tire
Functioning fire extinguisher (5 Pound Minimum Unit, please make sure
it's secure)
Usable Jack and Lug Wrench (Of proper size and height for your
vehicle).
Properly Rated Tow Strap (20,000 Pounds, 25 feet is good)
Tow points (front and rear). Many vehicles come stock with tow hooks.
Functioning Driver / Passenger Restraints (Seatbelts).
Roll Bar or Hard Top
Recommend gear:
Vehicle Owner's Manual
Working Flashlight
First Aid Kit
CB radio to communicate with other club members.
Basic Hand Tools.
Leather Gloves
Winch with properly rated accessories (such as Tree Saver Strap, Shackles,
Snatch Block)
Food, Water and any Prescription Medications that you might need during the
trip.
Things to leave at home:
Negative Attitudes
Illegal Drugs
Unlicensed / Illegal Weapons
Broken or non-functioning gear.
Unsocial pets.
